Since HLHS is new to most, it has led to misunderstandings and many questions. We thought it would be helpful to clarify what exactly HLHS is and what Benjamin and our family are facing.

We are still deciding which team and institution to entrust with these operations and the long-term care of our son, but we expect to decide in the next couple of weeks.

We have set up a fundraiser for those who would like to help us with Benji. This will enable us to focus solely on his care until we can return to full-time work and ministry.

We have some very difficult news to share. This past week, we discovered that our unborn son, Benjamin Thomas, has a rare, severe, and life-threatening heart defect.
